15. Black Cardstock 250 GSM

Process as follows:

Firstly, I cut 5 3/4" x 12" from a maroon cardstock.

Place it on scoreboard, align 12" side on top and score at 3 1/4" and 8 1/2".

Now place the starry night die on the score line and run through your die cut system. Repeat the process for both sides.

The base of the card is ready. Cut a white cardstock measuring 5 1/4" x 5 3/4" and distress the edges by rubbing a scissor blade in standing position. Now paste this in the middle of the card keeping the edges aligned with the maroon base.

Next is to cut pattern paper from Candlelit Christmas Collection measuring 5 5/8" x 5 1/8" and distress the edges using distress ink and paste it on the white cardstock aligning in the center. This will show 1/8" of beautiful edge all around.

Die cut the lace from the starry Night collection using Vellum and paste it on the bottom of the card. Remember to put the glue only on the 3 sides, so that it can act as a pocket. Also finish the bottom edge using a sentiment strip from the same paper collection.

Stamp poinsettia flowers and leaves using Versamark ink and heat embossed in gold and colored them in archival ink. Then die cut them and shape them using the flower shaping kit. I have used orange slice stickles to highlight the center of the flower.

There is a tag and sentiment sheet in Candlelit collection, I have fussy cut the tag out and made a hole in the top. Also, distressed the edges using distress ink. Then inserted bakers twine and added the poinsettia on top, finishing the tag.

Now, for the lantern, either you can stamp the image and color it or the candlelit paper collection has the exact size image which you can die cut from it. I did the same. I die cut the image which is already there in the paper collection and also die cut an extra lantern from a black cardstock to layer it at the back of image lantern. This will add some depth. Distress the edges of this lantern with distress ink and paste it onto the cardbase.

Finally add some Diamond stickles to the flower and front and back of the maroon cardstock die cut.

That finishes our beautiful Christmas Lace Card.

Hope you liked it.

Signing off for now, will get back with more crafty fun soon.
