Altered Tissue box

Materials used

1. Chalk paint - icraft - Desert warmth

2. Transfer me sheet - DMC - Lace collection

3. Transfer me sheet - DMC - Dream door

4. Transfer me sheet - DMC - vintage florals

5. Folk arts - Glaze Medium

6. Black gesso

7. Itsy bitsy - metallic wax 

8. MDF tissue box

9. Sanding block

Method -

1. Cleaned the mdf tissue box and cover it with black gesso. Let it dry.

2. Add a layer of chalk paint and let it dry completely.

3. Sand the edges usinga sanding block. 

4. Cut the transfer me sheets closer to the edges of the design.

5. Place the sheets onto the tissue box facing the right side down and dab the design using wet sponge.

6. Once the design I transferred then seal the tissue box with glaze medium to give the vintage effect.

7. Apply gold wax onto the edges and inside of the box.
