11. Daubers for ink blending

12. Watercolor brush

13. Crop-a-Dile

Process :

Firstly I have cut 5 3/4 x 5 3/4 inch watercolor paper. Then I have cut a circle die cut to mask on the watercolor paper to create sun. Then colored the background using Distress oxide inks Peacock Feathers, Salty Ocean and Squeezed Lemonade, blending them well.

Next step is to cut a 1/4 x 3 inch tunnel in the base of watercolor background.

Then I fussy cut Tropical Paradise paper to make a layer on the watercolor background covering the tunnel. Also I have used atleast 3 layers of double sided tape to this pattern paper. Remember to keep the tunnel part empty. So that when I stick it to the base then it should have enough room for the movement of swan. Just keep this paper layer ready but do not stick it down yet.

Then I stamped the images from Calla Lily Collection using Versafine Ink and die cut them and colored them using distress inks and watercolor brush.

Next is to create the working swan. I have cut 4 layers of swans and stick them with the stamped image to give it a solid dimension. As it will be a movable piece, so it should be sturdy enough. Then I made 2 holes below the neck of swan, when it becomes a little broader and inserted the brads. Placing the swan on the tunnel and brads crossing down the tunnel in the base of the card, I used a mountboard piece to hold the brads in place. Now, the swan will be in place and move in the tunnel direction.

Now when your base is working paste it onto a 6 x 6 Kraft Cardstock, to give it strength. I had to cut tunnel out of this Kraft cardstock too, so that I can hold the mountboard which is moving the swan.

It is time to place the pattern paper layer which we have created earlier. Also add some extra Calla Lillies to give more dimension to the card. Also place some to hide the swan in the start point position.

Add some Diamond stickles to give that sparkly effect.

Wowwww you are ready to have some fun with the Peek-a-boo card.

Do leave me some comments and suggestions.

Signing off for now :)

Will get back more crafty fun soon.
