Griha Pravesh Greetings

Griha Pravesh Greeting

Materials used
1. Papers from Heartfelt Creations - Tropical Paradise
2. Card base paper - Kraft Cardstock - Dress My Craft
3. Rounded Eyelet Window die from Heartfelt Creations
4. Alpha, key and small golden floral dies - I won in some giveaways
5. Archival Ink - Orange blossom - for top layer of pot
6. Archival Ink - Fern Green - for the leaves
7. Archival Ink - Vermillion - for sentiment
8. Ranger - Transparent Embossing Powder
9. Flowers I received as a gift from Crafter's Emporio
10. Gold Cardstock - Crafter's Emporio

Steps to follow:
1. Cut kraft cardstock measuring 7x 12 inches
2. Fold it in half on 12 inch side
3. Place the eyelet circle die just a bit off the folded edge and run through your machine. You will have a circle card. Now on one layer score at half the measurement horizontally. This will make the stand or easel for the card.
4. Cut another eyelet circle out of same kraft cardstock and paste it on to the folding part of easel card base.
5. Now the base card is ready for decor.
6. Cut 2 eyelet circles out of any pattern paper. One will go on the top layer of the base card and another one for the inside layer. You will have to trim the inside layer pattern paper a bit so that it can fit in the fold edge.
7. Now I have cut the gold cardstock in another die from the same rounded window set and pasted it on the front layer
8. Die cut the sentiments, pot and leaves die and colored them with archival ink. As archival inks are oil based so they remain wet for sometime. That means you can emboss with them. So I embossed the die cuts in transparent embossing powder. This gave them a solid 3D effect.
9. Pasted the sentiment with glue and leaves and pot with double sided tape.
10. Personalised the card by using alpha dies

Signing off for now
